I Break for Cookies

[mood |drunkFeelin' Crunked]
[music |I Love You Like a Masochist Loves Fucking a Bee Hive- CB]

Associated Press, February 20-something- Cookie Break is fucking stellar, thanks for asking.

Despite having lost one of its members to the Tsunami (RIP Abe) they have been making a lot of progress, and are pleased with the feedback from their European tour. Though, this isnt enough for some. Quote Wylde, "They're Europeans. They're dumb. They'd listen to me banging to bricks together. I'm not even sure they have posable thumbs." Coinsidentially, Cookie Breaks latest song is, infact, Richard banging too bricks together.

The band has been exploring a lot of new territory, making some new acoustic noises and utilizing Russell for all hes worth. Their newest material is not only great to listen to, but also provides extreme entertaiment in trying to guess which Modest Mouse song they copied to write it. The boys are in the process of cranking out another single, "Are You Going Blind?", which they are currently selling to the producers of The OC, in hopes of providing the soundtrack for when the teen soap-opera pops its hot-lesbian cherry.

Daly could not be reached for comment because he was "not allowed to leave the corner until he quits his other band".

The living members of the band are also proud to be in the finishing stages of their first feature film Zombie House (No, I'm not even joking). The final stages of editing are being placed, and they hope to not only debut the film soon, but it could indeed become a concert staple. Quote O'Rourke "Well, The Beatles had A Hard Days Night, The Stones had Sympathy for the Devil, Floyd had The Wall, now Cookie Break has Zombie House. It only makes sense." Most of the score is original Cookie Break material, including the 'banging jam'
"Theme From Zombie House".

So whats next for the worlds greatest music-makers? Nothing, they're all dead. But Cookie Break is a different story. Working on their next studio album, they hope to be done writing and start recording the summer of 2005. They have also started work for debuting some new material at the pretigious NHS Battle of the Bands. Principal Doctor Beth Singer had this to say, "The Norfamthon Highthool Bathle of the Banths is a gwate oppotunity for yun studenths. I haff faiff in Coofie Bwake."

Faiff in Coofie Bwake, indeed.

Let's just say, there a slim possibility Cookie Break may be auditioning certain choice members. Including the audition of a new memeber tonight at band practice.

I Break for Cookies

You all thought it was dead....and for awhile so did I, but I think it's about time for a Cookie Break Community Reunion!! oh man.

We have been really productive recently, and we've gotten about 5 offers from major record labels, but we rejected them all. It's all about the music. SPEAKING of music, we can almsot play three songs perfectly. One is Come Down from the Mountain, by Richard, another is Baby Britain by Elliott Smith, and the third is a secret surprise . Upcoming shows? Probably battle of the bands, but we still haven't decided if we're going to accept our invitation to TRL. We're kind of busy.

where are the band members?

abe ditched us for his new one man band "The Hair."....we're kind of sad about that. Originally he wanted me to join him because we both have awesome hair, but I'm faithful to Cookie Break.
we replaced him with jaxon, but then we remembered that jaxon can't play drums, so we kicked him out. he's okay with it i think.
bryan, richard, and russell are still around. oh wait i lied about abe ditching. he's still in the band.
our album is coming out august 14th. I just decided that now, but that seems like a good date.

we're going to make t-shirts too, and maybe sell them at the feeny concert. nawwwww. i'm just kidding. they would be too popular, and feeny might feel bad. i really like the idea of making t-shirts, though. what do you think?

Basically it all boils down to Cookie Break and their music. But keep on the lookout, folks. A super amazing Cookie Break surprise is coming within the next three months. and you'll never know what is it until it's here. oh man.

cookie breaking news on the band...(oh man that was no good.) [Aug. 5th, 2004|08:34 pm]
I Break for Cookies

[mood |chipperchipper]

so here's the deal kids. i got into this community without ever telling a special cookie break story. now, that isnt fair to all of the other hard working die hard cookie break fans, now is it? so here we go.

tonight i was lucky enough to encounter the entire band downtown northampton. i learned some pretty interesting things about the members and their appearances that you may want to look out for in the near future:

russell may very well be dying his hair blue, look our world. i was unable to get the full story on this because he rushed away, and missed the rest of the crazy events in faces.

bryan daly has adopted a brown hat, and is capable of pulling off any pair of sunglasses. watch out fashion fiends- mr.daly is hot on your trail and may steal the trend setting dictatorship from you and your magazines. you best check out that hat of his.

richard has a bizarre intrest in masks and tried on quite a few tonight. although he wore the phantom of the opera type one the longest, i do believe that his favorite was one that looked like it wanted to be a leather jacket or a whip- but somehow got stuck being a semi-creepy mask. perhaps he's got a few of these stowed away in his sock drawer? if so the paparazzi better keep on their toes.

abe has longer hair than i do, and is damned proud. shampoo commercial models have got nothing on this kid. he's definately got a few paul mitchell and pantene ads in his future. he is also very interested in sunshine buddies.

3/4 of the band and i also took in a good amount of information on the following subjects: things that are disgusting, things that are mean, and unpleasant ways to die.

all in all i'd say it was an informative and eventuful evening.
